Formula

GPA = Σ (grade point × credits) / Σ credits

Dual-credit courses generate a grade point average at both institutions. The combined record is computed by pooling quality points and credits from each course. Check whether your high school weights dual-credit like an Honors or AP course.

Examples

High school: A (4cr), B+ (4cr) + dual credit: A- (3cr), A (3cr)

QP: 16.0 + 13.2 + 11.1 + 12.0 = 52.3 ÷ 14.
